Baby Blessing

Ryan blessed our baby, Kathryn Audrey Morgan, on September 16, 2007. It was a fabulous blessing and Kate was soo good for the whole thing. She was blessed in the same dress as her mother, isn't that sweet?

Nona and Papa

Ryan, Kate, and I took a trip to LA to visit Ryan's grandparents and pick up our NEW car! We had a fabulous time. Ryan's grandparents were such a joy to be around, we loved the boat rides on the lake.

Our new addition!

Welcome to the World

Kathryn Audrey Morgan

As life happens we are often reminded to "put things in perspective", "don't sweat the small stuff", or "the day will pass and life will go on as normal."

Our little family has just experienced a life event which, when looked at through the perspectives listed above, should just be a passing moment transpiring quickly and looked back on with a knowing chuckle. After all, this event only took a day and came as very "small stuff".

But contrary to common life advice, we are "sweating" this small stuff, now known as Kathryn Audrey Morgan. She is the most beautiful and rewarding surprise we've ever known. We were so happy to welcome our baby girl into the world on July 20, 2007 weighing in at 6 pounds 11 ounces and measuring 19 inches long. Ryan and I never knew that such a small being could create so much joy, love, admiration, exhaustion, and pride. Our lives will never be the same and we are anticipating the coming adventures!

San Francisco

Ryan and I traveled to San Fran in June for a good friends wedding. It was my first outing to the city and I loved it. The seals cracked me up and I would have been completely happy to watch them the whole time.
You wouldn't know that all these pics were taken in the summer judging by our clothing. But we've all heard the famous quote," the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."

The Beach

We went with Ryan's family to the beach in June and had a blast. I was apprehensive about being at a beach while pregnant, but the great thing about Oregon beaches is that it is almost always more comfortable to stay fully covered!

Daddy

Oh Dad and Kate. Ryan loves to take Kate on "adventures." Kate listens very intently as Ryan tells her about all sorts of things and shows her trees, plants, cars, buildings, etc. They're a great match.
