When you think your toddler is napping....

There are some upsides:

1. Kate would be totally en vogue in Amsterdam, or if she were in a punk rock band.
2. It's a classic funny story to add to our family tale-book.
3. Scissors only go on top of the refrigerator now.
4. She didn't cut her ear off.
5. Ryan and I laughed the hardest we have since we got married, and still continue to chuckle when we look at her hair.

  1. I am so so sorry. The good news is that Margaret's hair is looking halfway decent at last. May her hair grow ever longer.

  2. Really, can any kid grow up without some sort of scary scissor story? Now you can rest knowing she has a "normal" childhood. The pictures are great!

  3. OH MY GOSH LAURA! Hahaha that is pretty funny and I must say one of the most INTENSE haircuts I've seen any kid give themself. She sure wanted a change. I was with a client when you called today and then I saw that you had Kate on the books so I figured that was what you called about and NOW I know why!

  4. I love it! I can't wait until Anna gives herself her own bad haircut-- it is practically a rite of passage of childhood! NOt to be missed. Good job baby Kate!

  7. Hey Laura! I haven't seen your blog in a while, but I just have to thank you for a much-needed laugh tonight! And I just have to say that your attitude is so inspiring! (I'm certain I'd have cried instead of laughing.) I'm glad to see things are going well for you guys! :-)
